A new restaurant with many vegetarian and vegan delicacies has opened in the heart of the old town of Tbilisi. Mama Terra offers many dishes from all over the world in addition to the traditional Georgian cuisine. The owner Carolina from Mexico tells us that many of her guests like to come to the restaurant to find an alternative from the local cuisine that exists on every street corner. We are feel the same and so she quickly recommends us 4 Mexican Tamales, a kind of pressed blanks of cornmeal dough and fresh bean paste served with two very delicious dips. Thanks to the wide range of goods available on the Georgian markets, she can easily prepare many international dishes. Environmental protection and good food often goes hand in hand, which is why you find long macaroni as a straw instead of plastic tubes in Mama Terra and get 10% off when you bring your own box for take away orders.
We liked very much the atmosphere with its light South American background music as well as the atmospheric small lamps on each table. The walls are decorated with colorful, Mexican-inspired paintings, and in the whole restaurant you cand find beautiful watercolor paintings of the dishes.
Thank you for the delicious food.
